New software could increase mobile VoIP traffic

Mobile VoIP traffic could be set to increase following the launch of
software which will enable customers to easily access the service.
Operators will be able to add their pre-configured settings to Acrobit's 'provider provisioning package', eliminating the need for VoIP hardware users to enter the details themselves.
The advancement could boost mobile VoIP traffic as more consumers will be tempted by the more accessible and customer-friendly technology.
A statement from the software development company confirmed the system is made specifically for Apple products.
It read: "VoIP operators can provide their customers with a proven Session Initiation Protocol client on the App Store and an easy way to use their service on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch."
Once a customer has registered their details with the firm, they will simply have to enter their user name and password to start using the package.
The list of VoIP service providers is presented in order of popularity, while companies are also separated into different regions for international users.
