Knowledge could boost VoIP solutions in small businesses

Increased knowledge of the benefits of VoIP solutions could help boost
the usage of the technology in small businesses.
The Irish branch of Komplett, an online IT supplier, found that many small businesses are aware of the cost benefits of adopting VoIP solutions, but many are unaware of how to go about acquiring them, reports 8el.com.
Justin Hamilton-Martin, managing director at 8el, said that having access to more knowledge would enable the majority of small business owners to pursue VoIP hardware, as they would know more about the different options on offer.
Mr Hamilton-Martin said: "We can't expect customers to understand all of the technicalities associated with VoIP, but guiding businesses through the maze is key to helping them evolve and to reaping the benefits."
When they have learned how to implement VoIP solutions, businesses could be in much stronger position to make cost savings and take advantage of other benefits of the technology.
In other news, research organisation Infonetics thinks that VoIP solutions will steadily grow in popularity, reports destinationcrm.com.
