Enterprise Arcturus Networks Inc., being the famous vendor of enhancement solutions for VoIP, telecommunications associated audio and networking integrated devices, has announced the general availability of particular solutions designed for basic three industrial verticals: transportation, medical products and construction works.
The dedicated solutions are specifically tailored for equipment vendors seeking to install nurse-care call and notification systems, school PBXs, fire alert notification, and premises access control or mass-transportation relayed intra-communications. The business patterns combine packets of hardware, software and associated support into one specifically configured super-system including tools that address audio deployment recommendations in a honed manner. "Entities and organizations such as NEMA and NFPA treat audio communications as the key to expand a range of industrial deployments from emergency evacuation systems to utilities that will help our aging citizens to keep active style of life," stated David Steele, product manager. "We have designed system solutions as the synergy of best of breed intelligibility engines with comprehensive control options, making it feasible for implementations like nurse call hardware to handle and control patient’s rooms using a dynamic combination of IP central server and mobile device such as iPads." The systematic applications build on a robust experience to deliver key technology to hardware manufacturers in all basic industrial verticals. The deployment enables producers to operate directly with Arcturus, loosing up essential resources to concentrate on their essential needs and segments of expertise. In this matter Arcturus brings up the building blocks, couplings and all means of integration required. An essential element of this is a Device Virtualization Service, a specific intra-servers and intra end-points protocols, designed by Arcturus that transform the operation and management of an embedded utility into an IP based protocol. This final protocol minimizes required time period by delivering a comprehensive interface for centric operations, signalling traffic interaction and common system supervision. The Device Virtualization Service is compatible for deployment on numerous devices from one or several conjoined central stations and extends to tablets and other mobile platforms. Specific Middleware solution is designed using a Linux system supported with Arcturus' well proven and operationally endorsed middleware to extend resiliency, device management and deploy LAN/WLAN voice and audio distribution. In addition to the bottom line middleware, dedicated tool kits are ready for use: Audio intelligibility with noise control functionalities, voice quality and acoustic parameters monitoring by means of advanced audio algorithms, meaning better performance in common intercom deployments. System represents automated reporting of supervised operating modes, and other functionalities. The solution supports audio processing tool Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), all-band or adaptive differential pulse-code modulation (ADPCM) as well as up to sixteen optic independent digital input and output signals. These signals may be implemented as part of a distributed control system (DCS), as an element of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) or as integral combination of a programmable logic controller (PLC) engine in support of mutually paired remote sensors, alerts, lights, buttons, and switches.
