Vodafone Qatar is to extend its Mobile Internet promotion by another month, giving customers 300 MB of free data per month until 31 January 2010. Vodafone Qatar originally announced an offer of 300 MB free per month in September.

Bhutan Telecom is doubling the capacity of its international internet bandwidth to cope with rising demand for fixed internet services. The company says that it also has some 12,000 users registered for mobile internet services and more than 4,100 registered for broadband services, but usage by mobile is still quite low.

MTS India says that it has expanded its CDMA based network into its 10th circle, and launched services in Haryana. Since its launch last year, MTS has secured over 3 million subscribers in the telecom circles of Kolkata, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chennai & Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bihar & Jharkhand, Delhi, Karnataka and Mumbai.

Oman based Nawras is offering a bonus credit of up to a third of the top-up value to all prepay top-ups purchased before 12th January. Throughout this bonus offer, customers selecting RO2 credit will be able to enjoy receiving 10% free credit and those recharging for RO4 will see their account credited with an extra 20%. Any customer recharging for RO8 will be given 30% more than they paid for.

MTN Yemen has announced a reduction in international call rates, down to YR 99 per minute to any country during January 2010.
