Associated General Contractors of America selects VoIP solutions provider PingTone
PingTone Communications, Inc., a market celebrity of hosted VoIP services to businesses and governmental subscribers, announced AGC of America (The Associated General Contractors of America), the prominent association for the construction industry, has selected PingTone’s Enterprise® VoIP service platform to provide service to their headquarters and remote office locations.
AGC of America had initiated the process of outsourcing of VoIP service in 2005, and had recently presented a market estimate of different hosted VoIP service providers. AGC made a decision to take PingTone solution as they were able to adhere to AGC's requirements whilst also performing the ability to deliver robust and reliable VoIP service for AGC's critical business operations.
"We are finding more companies deciding to leverage a hosted VoIP provider as organizations are becoming more comfortable with running their applications and services outside of their office building in the "cloud". The PingTone solution more importantly allows companies to remove a single point of failure, having their mission-critical infrastructure operated out of a world-class data center, vs. a telco closet in the building" said John Adams, VP of Marketing and Sales at PingTone.
"AGC had unique requirements as do most of our customers. PingTone invested much time with the AGC staff to gather requirements, design, and implement the right solution to ensure AGC's phone service was optimized for success" said Robyn Smith, VP of Customer Operations.
Upon the extremely elaborated analysis of the hosted VoIP providers, and taking into consideration PingTone's exceptional reputation and impeccable customer service, AGC of America selected PingTone. PingTone was able to quickly and efficiently implement the PingTone service in our offices, but more importantly deliver to AGC a reliable and quality business grade VoIP service” said Fara Francis, CIO of The AGC of America.
