Company InnoMedia, the substantial industry player in business voice solutions, has announced that it has launched a partnership program with Clearcable Networks, in integrating SIP Trunking and Hosted Voice services for Source Cable Ltd. in Canadian City of Hamilton, Ontario.
InnoMedia's Enterprise SIP Gateway (ESG) portfolio makes service providers such as Source Cable to deliver SIP-built voice services to their corporate customers, secure in the assurance that SIP normalization between the enterprise IP-PBX and the operator's SIP servers, NAT Traversal, QoS Management and Network Quality Monitoring have been completely handled and managed by the InnoMedia ESG. The InnoMedia ESBC product line offers numerous connectivity models ranging from high-speed Ethernet connectivity both to the IP-PBX and to the operator's tiered networks, across PRI-enabled modes that allow service providers to support SIP trunks designed for end users with traditional PBXs and using a dedicated PRI connectivity, as well as to applications equipped with a DOCSIS 2.0 or DOCSIS 3.0 interface that enable cable MSO's to provide business VoIP solutions in an extremely integrated form. Every unit also ensures four customer-friendly FXS ports, a bridge port for high-speed data handling, a router port with RIPv2 broadcast capability for enabling public IP addresses at the large enterprise, as well as an internal battery with complete monitoring telemetry functions for power backup. "We are happy to have worked with InnoMedia on a very successful product at Source Cable," noted Darryl Chandler, VP Operations, General Manager of Source Cable. "One specifically attractive feature of the InnoMedia ESG portfolio for Source Cable was the capability to deploy Smart-DQoS technology to provide a supported end-to-end QoS machinery over our HFC platform. This allowed us to ensure high-quality SIP Trunking and Hosted VoIP PBX services that would traditionally be run only on fiber or active Ethernet networks by big to medium-sized enterprises down to small businesses by leveraging the wide outreach and cost-efficiency of our DOCSIS-based coaxial cable access network." "We are really excited that Source Cable has selected the InnoMedia ESG as a core element of their network," said Shailesh Patel, Sr. Director, Product Management at InnoMedia. "We're figuring out that more and more cable operators are realizing the advantages of Smart-DQoS technology and deploying it to build up an assured quality experience to their corporate voice customers without the requirements for the added network complexity of PacketCable Multimedia. Paired with its strengths in providing SIP normalization, NAT Traversal and Performance Monitoring, as well as launching specific track record for quality and resilience, the InnoMedia ESG is proved to be the ideal benchmark for both cable MSOs and broadband service providers in their delivery of business voice services to their clientele. "In addition to ESG appliances, InnoMedia also deliver a comprehensive array of VoIP products including cable modem integrated eMTAs, Ethernet-based ATAs, IP PBXs, IP Phones, and a complementary Element Management System (EMS) for provisioning and managing the entire portfolio of InnoMedia products.
