RingGo iPhone app version 2.0 features a new Account Management screen, which let users to update their data. Company officials boast that the RingGo history page enables users up to see weekly data, demonstrating where and when they has parked previously. Also, the new version is fully compatible with the Apple iPad, delivering high resolution images.

Payment security is being declared as a prime consideration of Cobalt Company. And, in order to comply with Cobalt’s PCI DSS Tier 1 accreditation, the first-time RingGo iPhone user delivers credit or debit card details either through Cobalt’s secure website, or via the standard IVR service, said company officials.

When this information automatically transfers to the iPhone dedicated payment screen with just the last four digits appearing, users can easily make secure payment by entering the card’s 3-digit security code, said company officials.

One month ago, City of Edinburgh Council contracted Cobalt to implement its RingGo phone parking in the city.
