Company RadiSys Corporation, being the prominent provider of hardware and software dedicated platforms for next generation IP-based telecommunications networks, announced that it has been named the market leader in media servers for the seventh consecutive year by Infonetics Research. Specified study, "Service Provider VoIP Equipment and Subscribers: Quarterly Worldwide and Regional Market Share, Size and Forecasts," Infonetics Research reported RadiSys' has claimed about 65 percent of the whole market for the 2010, an 11 percent growth over 2009.
"With the ongoing migration of telecommunication services to IP network architectures, including 3G, IMS and LTE , the media server plays a critical role in delivering scalable, real-time IP voice and video media processing," said Diane Myers, directing analyst from Infonetics Research. "RadiSys continues to deliver innovative media server product enhancements in their efforts to maintain and grow their leadership position."

In 2010, RadiSys has released its Integrated Mobile Media Server (IMMS), thus massively enhancing mobile service providers' potential monetary capabilities from the boost of 3G mobile video services and 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) deployments. RadiSys also rolled out unique ‘’transcoding solutions’’ for all-IP service networks based on the RadiSys Media Server, attached by new functionalities and enhancements for its award-winning software media server.
