Drew Entertainemnt deploys Megapath's VoIP products
Enterprise MegaPath Corp., being the well-recognised provider of hosted data, VoIP and differentiated IT services in the United States and Canada, has announced about Drew's Entertainment and its subsidiary, named as the Drew Route 22 Properties, to take the MegaPath solution for their VoIP communications and integrated IT deployments.
As company’s officials stated, the organizations are implementing MegaPath's features and integrated capabilities to support the whole list of organic business expectations and needs from their headquarters office and associated warehouse. As company Drew's Entertainment looks forward to transit its office between two New Jersey cities, the company calculated all the related expenses and found it could be very costly and massively cumbersome to move its currently deployed PBX-built telephone and email platforms to the new premises. This made company to acquire MegaPath's Hosted Exchange and Hosted Voice solutions, delivering well-streamlined billing, expenditures and more functionalities, compared with all the previous projects and initiatives. In between of the moving process, the organizations stated that Hurricane Sandy completely flooded premises and building, demolishing the whole server room. Company chosen not to replace the firmware, deploying MegaPath's Enterprise Cloud Hosting instead, as the amendment to corporate telecommunications projects, thus trying to make all their corporate data secure from future possible natural and human made emergencies. This selection impacted the companies' servers array of six pieces of equipment to be substituted by three virtual servers and made Drew's Entertainment and Drew Route 22 to recover all their business operations in matter of two days, upon the ordering related cloud-embedded services. "Hurricane Sandy demolished all the asset in our current facility. After such a learning experience, we decided it did not deliver much sense to get and work with this infrastructure in our new premises," noted Les Kurian from Drew Route 22. "Being completely covered with the MegaPath's Cloud-based applications, we can keep ultimate peace of mind, not thinking about the business continuity procedures, and our staff can rapidly and safely communicate with their peers, and customers from anywhere." MegaPath's Hosted Exchange ensures really corporate-level emails, scheduled calendars and efficient task management, improving overall productivity, collaboration and telecoms for all corporate employees. Also, the companies' workers can use all the advantages of sophisticated calling features such as Find Me/Follow Me, hosted mobile VoIP, which were never covered with all those previous PBXs. These innovative projects enable the Drew associated teams to operate remotely and upkeep web and telephone access disregarding of their physical location.
