Company IP Trade, being global provider of Internet Protocol operated Trading Turrets for financial entities has released iCOM software application that integrates smoothly with Cisco manufactured telephony systems. In accordance with IP Trade officials, iCOM provides a spectrum of functionalities, which are merely unsurpassed in the market.
iCOM is a dedicated trader intercom appliance for the users of standard touch-screen Cisco phones,IP Trade explained. It ensures an effective connectivity link between front office operators and agents and back office phone users without the requirements for any additional infrastructural elements and the phones can be used in an accustomed manner. This new software application will be completely operational within Cisco CP-9971 series IP Phones, the IP Trade officials explained. The users acquire access to intercom functions by means of phone’s touch-screen interface. Users can order up to 5 broadcasting groups at the same time and speak to trading groups instantly at a click or button push. As front and back-office users can commence the session, and phone users can select whether or not their standard calls are interfered and levels of audio output. IP Trade boasted that until now companies needing intercom have been faced with musts of installing expensive hardware devices. Apart from being costly, they overloaded valuable desk volumes. iCOM makes the users to have intercom functionality directly on their Cisco phone, thereby drastically cutting space requirements, complexity, hardware costs and overall support and maintenance costs. “Convergence of technologies are boosting the IT requirements of the financial markets; the IP Trade and Cisco offering removes the dedicated desk top hardware and all related costs, providing a unified smooth solution regardless of front end or back end users”, Managing Director of IP Trade Benoît Dewonck noted. iCOM is built upon IP Trade’s certified Turret Proxy Openline (TPO) server software. TPO servers ensures intercom broadcast support and forward call requests from end users. Additionally they provide robust centrally managed active voice flows to voice recorders to ensure compliance. Last month, IP Trade announced the roll out of latest version of its IP based Turret. The company officials informed that the basic components of the release 6.0 included new documentation system now available across TSS; a new “skin” interface enabling superior control over graphical resources; base line support of the new 10” trading turret/console; cross site intercom to support numerous sites and additional back up of land mobile radio.
