Labeled as the iPECS-MG, the solution is generally available through LG-Ericsson's authorized and certified resellers, the company announced. iPECS-MG is reported to be unique innovative solution aimed to acquire advantages from both the existing infrastructure and advanced IP environment, thus to take the best of the both worlds. In addition of providing all of the features of a traditional PBX, the new iPECS-MG system has been created to support unified communication characteristics for audio and video conferencing, data combining and integrating, as well as remote and roaming user support to enable a smooth communication experience. In November 2011 LG-Ericsson has released the SBG-1000, its brand new virtual PBX communications management system for small office/small business customers. The product was designed to power pure IP communications for virtually all of the demanding business communication applications in environments of up to 20 employees/users. Because of it compact housing of the SBG-1000, it can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk. Built on a completely-distributed architecture, the SBG-1000 creates a smart mobile office that brings complete mobility for on-premise and external voice and data communication that is totally transparent to callers and users.
