Enterprise Neustar, Inc., the US Local Number Portability Administrator (LNPA), has praised by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the North American Numbering Council's (NANC) working group and the North American Portability Management, LLC (NAPM LLC) on the output of the Request for Information (RFI) as part of the cause to choose the seller to be employed as the LNPA when the existing contract expires in June 2015.

Being labored as the LNPA, Neustar operates the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC), the national telephone number registry service that promotes the migration of calls to ported numbers. Neustar had taken a part assisting the communications industry in enforcing wireline number portability in 1997, wireless number portability in 2003, and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) number portability in 2007.
