New Managing Director for Gulf Region in Avaya
Avaya a provider in business class communications systems, software and services, has announced that Mohammed Areff has been appointed as Managing Director-Gulf region for the Company.
Acquiring new duties, Areff will work with Avaya's clientele in the region's telecommunications and financial services, covering private and governmental sectors in order to ensure complete leverage of company’s networks for collaboration, unified communication, call centers, data networking and other business requirements.
Areff takes over from Roger El Tawil, who was in this position for seven years, quite sucessfuly leading the Avaya’s regional channel and business campaigns, and who is now shifting to another, family related businesses. Areff will act under Nidal Abu- Ltaif, Area Vice President – Avaya Emerging Markets: well proven leader of the sector, who has made Avaya as a leading unified communications, and contact centre solution provider in the Gulf area.

Mohammed Areff will work for Avaya after being 12 years with NCR Corporation where he occupied several leadership positions in sales, operations and services in the Middle East Africa Emerging Markets. His last assignment was in services operations across the Middle East and Africa.
