Polish company ‘’IS-Wireless’’, being a Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) provider, launched the LTE (Long term evolution) PHY (Physical layer)Lab, specific implementation of the 3GPP Release 8 E-UTRA physical layer. Company offers the LTE PHY Lab as a Mathematical Laboratory Toolbox in frames the unique MathWorks Connections Program, attached with ramified product, WiMAX PHY Lab, which evolves mobile WiMAX PHY.
“LTE PHY Lab and WiMAX PHY Lab are great tools of direct application in research and education,” said Krzysztof Kulpa from the Warsaw University of Technology in a official press release. Such products facilitate the process needed to generate generous scientific contribution. They also allow students to obtain practical experience in the area of LTE and WiMAX radio interfaces, Kulpa added.

Company press release boasts LTE PHY Lab and WiMAX PHY Lab can be applied at all levels of the software, hardware and IPR processes for the two wireless standards, widely used in wireless and VoIP communications. IS-wireless products can be implemented in wide range of researches, system benchmarking, verification and testing.
