BandTel VoIP Network and VegaStream Gateways Now Interoperable

Specifically, BandTel’s VoIP network now is officially compatible with VegaStream’s gateways. This means that channel partners of both companies can offer a new, seamless VoIP solution to customers. BandTel brings to the table a fault-tolerant, bandwidth-saving architecture, and this now is combined with the reliability, affordability and rich feature set of VegaStream’s gateways.
Of the new partnership, BandTel CEO Chris Dunk said in a statement: “It brings our respective customers and resellers innovative solutions that are easy to deploy and use while reducing common throughput and redundancy issues.”
He added: “We are working together to ensure compatibility and interoperability, which results in seamless integration and a high quality voice service.”
“BandTel is the missing piece of the VoIP puzzle because it delivers the reliability and scalability absent in most bandwidth-heavy IP telephony environments,” commented VegaStream’s VP of the North American service provider market, Donald Krause, in a statement.
The interoperability includes VegaStream’s Vega 400 line of digital gateways, and its Vega 50 line of analog gateways. Those products now work with BandTel’s N-Plus architecture and its SIP softswitch technology to enable users to receive service simultaneously from multiple switching centers.
