The company targets individual users and retail markets and aims to offer users the ability to speak to friends and colleagues for free when calling from PC to PC. Efonica also offers a low-rate call service when customers are dialing either mobile or land line numbers. The company is at present striving to establish a worldwide internet area code.
“Efonica is designed to meet the needs of customers worldwide, using revolutionary, patent-pending technology carried over a high quality, reliable and robust network that is supported 24 hours a day,” explains Marwan Khadij, business development manager at Fusion Telecommunications.
Three different services are available at present. The first, Efonica Free, offers unlimited call time, allows users to hold calls and even perform 3-way calling. Efonica Plus includes all of the features of Efonica free and adds extras such as fax, voicemail and an ‘efo out’ service. This allows users to dial regular phone numbers at competitive rates. The most advanced service, Efonica Pro, is targeted at businesses and allows firms to customise their communication services to help boost communication efficiency and effectiveness.
The company aims to showcase these services at Gitex this year in addition to boosting brand awareness in the region. It is also keen on expanding its distribution network and plans to appoint new distributors and partners. “GulfComms is getting bigger and more important every year, especially when it comes to the amount of leads generated,” continues Khadij. “It’s a big booster to our sales in the region.”
The solutions provider reckons that the Middle East market has a great deal of potential and plans to further develop its installed base.
The company already has licenses in place in Jordan and Bahrain where the telecoms markets are already deregulated. With interest in VoIP solutions soaring across the wider Middle East region, Efonica is hopeful that it will have a highly productive GulfComms exhibition.
