Pingtel wins Amazon.Com VoIP Deployment

Amazon selected Pingtel's solution for its highly-scalable SIP architecture, high availability, and robust feature set. The standards-based ECS architecture facilitated integrating the solution into Amazon's existing system management tools. SIPxchange ECS includes call center/ACD functionality, a built-in presence server, and the ability to function as a network VoIP router.
Amazon.com is only the first of a number of announcements in the pipeline, according to a Pingtel executive. The company has a number of OEM agreements akin to Patton SMB SIP appliance, more interoperability agreements with ITSPs, and more customer announcements lined up over the next 90 days.
