The week-long technology trade fair Cebit came to an end on Wednesday in Hanover with praise from exhibitors and organizers alike. Although final tallies show that 480,000 visitors came to the event, 9,000 less than last year, this hardly fazed trade fair organizers and industry specialists. ”Cebit has set a positive signal for the industry and has worked to create a sense of commercial optimism,” said Ernst Raue, one of the fair`s management board members.
