TietoEnator implements VoIP contact centre at E.ON Bayern AG

E.ON Bayern AG assigned TietoEnator, the international consultancy company and experienced systems integration supplier, as the general contractor in realizing the new technology in its customer-care operations. All functionality of the communications software from Interactive Intelligence is based on the supplied VoIP platform.This new solution has been enhanced by the voice portal management system from specialist supplier Sympalog.
The Landshut location already has over 200 contact centre agents working with the TietoEnator solution. The number of VoIP participants will increase in stages with every new location installation.
Siegfried Wegner, Managing Director at E.ON Service Plus GmbH, said: "The new infrastructure in our call centers will lead to further improvement in our complete customer interaction capability at E.ON Bayern. This includes integration of other communication channelssuch as fax and e-mail, automated metering around the clock as well as state-of-the-art communications management to deal with all of our future requirements rapidly and flexibly."
