VoIP handset, Apple mobile phone confusing? Heh.

I was waiting for this from Cisco, the parent of home networking company Linksys. Cisco Systems filed a lawsuit today to protect its "iPhone" name one day after Apple revealed what is probably going to be the most advanced mobile phone made to date.
There is a Linksys product called the "iphone" that is a VoIP (Voice over IP) handset used to make voice telephone calls over a broadband Internet connection. Many around the blogosphere were counting the days until Cisco stepped up with a lawsuit. Heck, it only took 24 hours.
I am very sure that people will confuse a Linksys VoIP handset for Apple''s mobile telephone handset, as they look and operate so much alike (yes, that''s a little sarcasm for ya!). But, alas, Cisco had to make the move the ensure its "intellectual" property was not, um, trampled upon. Heh.
