Company MiCTA, a US wide group purchasing organization, has chosen Qwest Communications as an endorsed national vendor for telecommunications and IP networking services. Qwest is selected also as an approved national vendor for VoIP services and particular services of managed hosting, call center solutions and conferencing; direct purchases are delegated to Quest Communication either.

"Qwest Communications has always delivered an exceptional range of products and services that address our membership's telecommunications and technology needs,"

The bidding process was highly competitive, and after Qwest was selected, MiCTA members may purchase telecommunications , technology oriented products and services at volume discounts in frames of MiCTA contract. This approach eliminates needs for members to forward their own bidding process.

"By putting next-generation technology in classrooms and libraries, Qwest is helping create an outstanding learning environment that unlocks the potential of students of all ages nationwide," said Sharon Montgomery, vice president of Qwest Government and Education Solutions. Products and services of Quest will be provided to MiCTA members for at least the two years. MiCTA Company (Saginaw, MI) represents thousands entities of education, K-12, library, healthcare, governmental and charitable organizations. Worldwide, MiCTA seeks to use common procedures of voice, video and data issues for its members.
