Rogers Communications expands its LTE coverage in Canada
The whole mobile telecommunications capital investments of Rogers Comms in Canada are estimated to reach around $2.2 billion including LTE segment, with additional 28 cities will to be covered in 2012.
Enterprise Rogers Communications is one of the country’s largest LTE device provider, and recently company has celebrated the first anniversary of its activities in the industry of next generation LTE wireless services. Since 2011, Rogers launched LTE in the wide suburb areas of Ottawa, having further deployments in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and vicinity. In 2012, Rogers has initiated LTE services in St. John's, Halifax and Calgary to cover finally 35 per cent of the Canadian residential areas. Rogers is committed to expand its LTE network, augmenting its existing coverage in major cities, and adding amounts of new cities from coast to coast with the target to reach indicators of 60 per cent of the population by the end 2012.
