Sonus Network expands to eastern Europe and CIS Countries

Sonus Networks, Inc. one of the leaders in IP networking, and NewTelco, a prominent infrastructure supplier in the EU region, recently announced agreement on ambitious plans to increase the market acquisition for Sonus products in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Commonwealth of Independent States. NewTelco has elaborated records of partnership with more than four hundred customers in these areas, and being prominent supplier of modern telecommunications solutions in the European markets.
By the agreement between two entities, NewTelco is authorized to act as a reseller of the complete Sonus product portfolio, such as GSX9000(TM) Open Services Switch, PSX(TM) Call Routing Server, SGX(TM) Signaling Gateway, the NBS9000(TM) Network Border Switch, and recently announced NBS5200(TM) Network Border Switch on Sonus' new ConnexIP platform. Additionally, NewTelco will be involved into systems integration and support services in the regions.

Officials of both Companies are optimistic in their statements:

Sonus offered unique hybrid solutions, that provides customers with options to support sessions TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) to IP, as well as IP-to-IP sessions on the same platform, without extra switches needed, in a cost effective way to transform networks to all IP products ‘’tree’’. This next generation session border control solution, enabled by so called ConnexIP(TM) platform, cover limitations that previous generation SBCs (Server Based Computer) had introduced.
