Enterprise SPIRIT DSP has announced officially, South Korean's most prominent mobile VoIP and data services provider LG U+ has selected SPIRIT's TeamSpirit Voice & Video Engine Mobile to back up HD-quality corporate level VoIP and video calling on mobile appliances. The most modern carrier-grade technology will enable the South Korean vendor to manage voice and video over IP processing, building up highly optimized business VoIP services to its customers.
South Korea has one of the world's most modern and technologies cutting edge IP communications markets on the global level, backed by considerable support from the government. The country also reports a high quality enterprise VoIP infrastructure, supported by numerous portability functions and a dedicated area zone for VoIP telephone numbers. Approximately within 18 months, the number of smartphone subscribers in South Korea has boosted more than ten-fold to top 10 million (or around a fifth of the population) which was a result of local carriers to deploy their own mobile VVoIP (voice and video over IP) services to prevent their clientele from migrating to Skype and Google mobile voice and video services.
