Star2Star enterprise releases new VoIP PBX for large business
Company Star2Star Communications being provider of corporate class VoIP telephony announced the release of innovative IP PBX, under the designation StarBox 5500 IP PBX. New PBX is designed to ensure the connectivity for up to 500 extensions with up to 100 simultaneous voice conversations, as boasted by the company’s officials.
“As it was before, the only solutions for bigger VoIP customers cost tens of thousands of dollars per certain location. The StarBox 5500 brings Star2Star’s unsurpassed quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness to enterprise size customers with numerous offices,” CEO of Star2Star Communications said while describing the benefits of the new IP PBX system. The StarBox 5500 expand the portfolio of the StarBox 2200 and StarBox Lite models in Star2Star’s StarBox , based on Star2Star’s created next generation Blended Architecture. The products use a perfect mixture of on-premise and hosted “in the cloud” elements to ensure highly reliable, business-class call quality over traditional Internet connections. Star2Star also provides customers with multiple failover options in the event of a power or Internet outage. StarBox 5500 surpasses the previous two applications in terms of operational capacity. While, the 2200 can connect up to 250 extensions and 50 simultaneous calls, the StarBox Lite can connect 20 extensions and 10 calls. The 5500, which supports 500 users, can be used as a drop-in replacement for customers who have outgrown their smaller StarBoxes. Moreover, when being compared, all three models share an identical feature set and management interface, the company maintained. As it is the traditional settings for the producer, the StarBox 5500 is packaged in a 1U rack-mountable chassis. It uses a Solid State Disk (SSD) for silent, smooth operation and consumes just 100 Watts of power, Star2Star revealed in the release. In the press release, Star2Star also announced that the StarBox 5500 is available for immediate delivery. Last month, Star2Star announced that its flagship product, the Business Internet Telephone System, has won the appraisal from the editors of Internet Telephony and Customer Interaction Solutions magazine. It received the “Product of the Year” Award for the second year in a row.
