UK mobile operator starts VoIP services
On of the leading UK mobile phone operator ‘’O2’’ has announced its full readiness to launch a brand new international VoIP services. This move followed the recent company’s acquisition of VoIP service provider Jajah, and now O2 has published its so called International Favorites package which offers clients the options to make low-cost international VoIP calls.
Company’s settings foresee, that users who purchase £10 of credit will receive 3,000 minutes to call certain three international landline phone numbers, while a £20 top-up will give them to use 3,000 landline minutes and 200 mobile minutes to outreach five international numbers.

Sally Cowdry, O2 marketing director, announced that international calling market is "poorly served" and often too expensive and complicated. She said: "International Favourites gives our customers a great value and convenient option for connecting with their friends and families abroad through their mobiles."

Additionally, customers of O2 will be provided with a local phone number in one of 42 countries, drastically diminishing the cost of incoming calls which will be charged at the local rate.

The service is ready to be offered to both pay-as-you-go and pay-monthly customers on October 26th.
