Company Vertical Communications, being provider of next-generation IP-based phone systems and voice applications, has announced the launch of converged VoIP telephony system, designed to address the needs of multi-site small businesses.
The product is named as MBX IP and will help small businesses further increase productivity and efficiency. Vertical stated that this announcement also completes its next-gen telephony product line-up with SBX IP and Wave IP.

In according with the official statement, the MBX IP system supports traditional endpoints, IP endpoints, as well as SIP trunking. All these VoIP elements are supported by a single scalable system that can address the demands of multi-site SMB customers.

Targeted for businesses having 50 to 250 users and up to 72 multiple sites, MBX IP has the ability to support existing XTS IP, FX/MP, STS, and SBX IP endpoints, including the new Edge 8000 IP phones.

Vertical Communications boasts that the MBX IP system delivers full set of standard features that enables the system to adapt to a range of business requirements. The array of the features includes integrated voicemail/auto attendant for professional greetings, unified messaging that makes possible receiving voicemail in a ‘’.wav’’ format through the e-mail, and automatic call distribution, which includes two levels of supervising, recorded announcements, and overflow handling.
