VoIP supplier company IP5280 Communications offers a full spectrum of Business VoIP services, including Hosted PBX VoIP, SIP Trunking, Unified Communications and others Company has expanded its operational asset by acquisition of VoIP provider RockyNet corporate network. The deal’s financial details were not disclosed, but it drastically expands IP5280’s capabilities in VoIP managed services and cloud solutions. New services are expected to be in frames of managed Web and co-location.
‘’Agents will be able to sell the combined company’s products and gain more traction among their customers’’, said John Scarborough, managing partner at Colorado- headquartered IP5280. And IP5280’s RockyNet purchase “means a greater level of expertise in service delivery for agent’s customers – agents can be assured of our experience," Scarborough added.

As a practical step is IP5280 bringing over two key persons from RockyNet, which will head the customer operations and service delivery group, as well as joins the technical operations team. IP5280 also declared the nomination of new Director of partner sales department. RockyNet acquisition bolsters IP5280’s user base by more than 15 percent and gives IP5280 access to RockyNet’s IP Call-Control platform. IP5280 will blend that system with its cloud-computing product, IP5280 CLOVER. IP5280 said agents’ commission structure – already in the 10-15 percent range – won’t change as a result of the RockyNet transaction. RockyNet said it now will focus on its data-center cloud computing
