EGPI Firecreek has distributed a press release, announcing that its subsidiary, Terra Telecom was chosen by US Federal Government to expand a designated client's VoIP network in frames of long standing project. Initiated in late 2009, the project was completed in December 2010, creating a new premise for the VoIP voice platform and expanding over two-hundred handsets, thus finalizing the phone count up to over a thousand units.
With the project about to be fully completed, Terra Telecom is involved in the facility refurnishing, adding ISDN BRI capabilities to the voice network for video purposes, upgrading to the existing software applications, and stretching further on to another building on site, as well as assisting to explore SIP functionalities in a government environment. The utmost level of engineering needed for these projects requires technical expertise from Terra Telecom's engineers, who not only adhered with the highest level of certification, but also have an experience of government applications and all relayed bureaucracy.
