VoIP products from Toshiba become certified for deployment with AT&T
Telecommunication Systems Division (Toshiba America)has announced the completed certification process of its IPedge VoIP business deployment telephony in accordance with the requirements of AT&T IP Flexible Reach SIP package and is readily available within Authorized Toshiba Dealers distribution network in North America.
Toshiba's product deployed with AT&T IP Flexible Reach SIP Trunking empowers businesses entities to collaborate their voice and digital data networks, improving effectiveness by maximizing the bandwidth utilization," explained Mark Carpenter from Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division. "Having active SIP Trunking, IPedge users can fill in free volume of a bandwidth within the data network, grow up network traffic by means of signal compression technology to operate more voice traffic across the network, and leverage resources for more effective Return of Investment." IP Flexible Reach is a SIP trunking application that ensures integrated access for IP PBX, TDM PBX environments, backing up massive potential cost benefits by consolidation of voice and data, ensuring one provider, one signal transportation and one management options. Voice and data packets proceeding within the same transport delivers wider bandwidth for provisional utilization. This hosted VoIP communication solution contains specific calling plans that are designed for inbound and outbound calls processing on the data network, backing up local, U.S.national and international communications for business entities. Utility is supported by AT&T Managed Internet Service (MIS) and VPN dedicated services, ensuring functionalities to support consumers’ connectivity and bandwidth expectations. AT&T deploys numerous access speeds, from a trivial T1 to Gigabit Ethernet. These specific services completely drive the benefits of AT&T's Global MPLS Network, giving users the true platform for smooth voice and data communications. AT&T IP Flexible Reach can operate as with local wired as with Virtual (cloud based) Telephone Numbers (VTNs). VTNs assign a telephone number for user from any location to a specific phone that is not truly located in the user's calling area. This makes the user to enjoy local visibility within that calling region. Solution of Centralized Call Delivery reroutes phone calls generated from various locations throughout US and answering them at the selected central location. Special IP PBX extensions capability brings up phone numbers for all branch office within a premise and is supported by a dedicated centralized IP PBX installed at the IP Flexible Reach physical location. Consumers can deploy their normal IP data networks to redirect the calls to relevant branch office sites, thus utilizing their IP PBX to support IP phones without extra hardware deployed. Therefore Toshiba's IPedge telephone system embeds various unified communication deployments on a centralized Linux server, such as call processing, multimedia and teleconferencing leveraged by means of Web collaboration, unified communications, original SIP line and SIP trunk platform, mobility, resilience, networking with other IPedge and company’ Strata CIX system, centric administration, and features ample telephony endpoints. Also applications of uMobility Fixed Mobile Convergence and Contact Center software are available with extra servers deployed.True advantages of the Linux are survivability within or across the networks to back up business continuity and a much improved working security. A one single IP address ensures cost-effective deployment. SIP trunking operates natively with the IPedge without needs for additional gateway installations. Being innovative VoIP technology and open standards, IPedge is created for the long term perspective as future endpoint utilities are built on standards to support operational compatibility with the any kind of a system, therefore protecting the consumer’s investment. Organic features are: Enterprise Manager browser-inbuilt system administration with centric multi-site managing approach; Browser-based specific administration for individual users to configure their own phones; Unified Messaging. Mobility is being supported by Toshiba's wireless IP telephones; and guaranteed networking compatibility with Toshiba's Strata CIX IP converged solutions.
