VoIP services provider Airband Communications recieves Dallas 100 Award
Enterprise Airband Communications, one of the biggest fixed-wireless VoIP and data provider for North American businesses, has distributed the press release about its ranking among the fastest growing, privately held companies headquartered in the Dallas region. Airband received so called ‘’Dallas 100 Award’’ from the SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship.
"Airband has demonstrated excellent financial performance, such as stable revenue growth boosted by the ever increasing demand for high-speed data and voice solutions," stated Airband CEO Michael Ruley . "Our team has worked hard to arrange Airband as one of Dallas' most innovative and market-leading enterprises, and we are delighted to be recognized with the Dallas 100 Award." Businesses and organizations take Airband for high-connectivity data, high-speed Internet access and VoIP services that support their basic functions and enhance whole productivity. Airband's Internet access delivers a highly scalable and affordable alternative to classical providers by ensuring bandwidth wirelessly, over the local phone and cable infrastructures. Therefore, company's full array of IP-based voice services features flexible voice and unified communications options that can quickly be adapted to meet ever changing network needs. Responding to the massive need for high-bandwidth data and enterprise-class voice services, Airband boosted its market expansion in 2010 by absorbing Sparkplug Communications to build up a complete suite of services in 17 States. In August 2011, Airband secured a $20 million investment from Boston-based ABRY Partners, LLC to facilitate growth both within company and by means of mergers and acquisitions. "Airband's wholly-owned, fixed-wireless network fights numerous downsides of traditional telephony and data services by providing customers the versatility to instantly make bandwidth adjustments that are fit to dynamic business environments," said Ruley. "Airband continues to monitor a strong demand for scalable network capabilities as customers are transiting to cloud-based solutions. We look forward to further delivering services that enable our customers to act smoothly as their operating environments arise." Founded in 2000, Airband continues to be one of the most prominent business entity in Dallas, where the company deploys about 60 employees. Airband also manages key markets in Austin, Fort Worth and Houston, in addition to nationwide markets, such as Atlanta; Baltimore; Des Moines; Fort Lauderdale; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Miami; Orange County, Calif.; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Antonio; San Diego and Washington, D.C. Specific ‘’Dallas 100 Awards’’ were launched to promote economic growth and innovation while celebrating the success of local enterprises and job creation. Every year, the awards program estimates the business environment and identifies the 100 fastest growing, privately owned companies in Dallas.
