VoIP services provider Globalinx acquires TMC Communications
Globalinx Enterprises announced recently on closing the acquisition of company TMC Communications, a California-headquartered telecommunications provider ensuring businesses throughout the North America.
Globalinx has distributed press release, where Rochester, N.Y.-headquartered provider of VoIP services, stated that acquisition will enable the company “to expand its commercial footprint, as well as offer a broader product and service portfolio."

The enterprise announced it will retain the asset of TMC agents and will not change the terms of any agent or customer contracts. Last year, agents for TMC provided the interview to VoIP related Medias, saying they were optimistic about the pending acquisition.

“This joining of forces means great things for customers, agents, resellers and employees of both organizations," CEO of Globalinx Craig Jerabeck said.

However, company, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of 5LINX Enterprises, did not announce the factual terms of the agreement. The unified enterprise will work under the Globalinx branding name and maintain an office in the Santa Barbara, California. Company’s officials said it is not anticipated to start any other organizational changes in the near future.

“The two companies share many of the same core values, including a commitment to selling through an independent sales channel as well as an entrepreneurial spirit," TMC President Ron Ireland said.

The statistical data on TMC form last year shows that TMC had more than 300 direct agents, not counting subagents of its master agents, which grow the number to more than 1,000. TMC was founded in 1997 by channel advocate John Marsch, who died of cancer in 2006.
