Enterprise TELES, being the famous provider of Class 4 and Class 5 softswitch implementations, VoIP gateways and mobile gateways for GSM, CDMA and UMTS networks, has been chosen as a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect Program. The Avaya DevConnect Program backs up enterprises developing applications that are compatible interoperable with Avaya communications utilities.
Presented as a member of Avaya DevConnect Program, TELES will acquire complete support to design and market its TELES Access Gateways that are fully compliance tested for compatibility with Avaya portfolio. TELES Access Gateways, was fully tested and confirmed by Avaya for customer satisfaction, product support, business activities, marketing and sales, expands the Avaya portfolio. It brings up solutions for optimal cost routing, last mile connectivity using mobile networks, and fallback solutions, as boasted by company officials."Technology partners like TELES assist our customers base leverage their inputs into telecoms infrastructure by integrating complementing functionalities augmenting the existing solutions," stated Eric Rossman from Avaya. "This provides customers more flexibility and increases the reliability of their network.Using TELES Access Gateway solutions, enterprises can, for instance, integrate their workers' cellular phones into the Avaya FMC (Fixed-to-Mobile Convergence and UC (Unified Communications) solutions to lower interconnection costs.” TELES Access Gateways makes the massive costs reduces, related with all the connectivity costs between fixed and mobile networks, and backs up low cost dial-in from cell phones into enterprise communication solutions. This will result in provisioning of enhanced communication functions on cellular phones without incurring additional costs. TELES Access Gateways is looking forward to initiate backup solutions over the mobile network in case of failure in the fixed network. Customers can also integrate SMS-based communications into the existing infrastructure. The TELES Access Gateways offer between four and 32 cellular channels, up to 30 VoIP channels and several E1/T1 interfaces depending on the model, the company determines in a press release. "Avaya ensures TELES with expanded technical support, compliance testing and marketing initiatives", said Oliver Olbrich, chief operating officer of TELES, in a statement. "This will help us ensure the compatibility of our products with Avaya's solutions and address our joint customers in an optimal way."
