VoIP Technologies provider’s ECT’s products has been certified for German PSTN lines
Company ECT, being the well reputed provider of technology for voice and multimedia value-added services, declared that its INtellECT platform has passed the compatibility tests, done by Deutsche Telekom for integration and seamless connectivity with the German PSTN network.
As per company, the INtellECT Next-Generation Intelligent Network (NGIN) delivers value-added services in synergy networks, working in legacy networks and next-generation IMS networks.
Deutsche Telekom executed the interconnection tests by means of IBM Softswitch Version 3.5 and SIP according to IMS ISC (RFC 3261). If an item passes the test, it means that it is approved to have network operation security, maintenance of network integrity and the functionality for the interconnectivity of hardware and software for NGN interconnection between the carrier and the Deutsche Telekom network.
“This is a major step for ECT which gives us a distinct advantage over many of our competitors,” stated Walter Rott, CTO for platform-related development at ECT. “This means that our INtellECT media server (MFR) can be connected directly to the PSTN without utilizing a Softswitch. The saves our customers money and also gives them a competitive advantage.”
ECT declared that its customers prefer INtellECT platform over rivalries offered solutions, due to its sustainable innovative technology as well as its flexibility to be individually tailored for customers’ special requirements. ECT enables carriers and providers to upkeep cost leadership while offering products that optimally fulfill market demands and also added that it specialized in migrating services from legacy platforms to next-generation solutions.
