Voxigo rolls out free mobile VoIP application for iPhones
Company Voxigo Telecommunications has announced the release of its free unified communications mobile VoIP application for Apple's mobile devices. The product, which enables consumers to make free calls is available on the Apple app store and is fully suitable with the popular iPhone, iPad and iPod touch firmware.
Phone calls made by means of Voxigo are smoothly connected through the user's Wi- Fi or 3G data connection. Voxigo also provides its tailored CallThrough service in more than 53 countries, selecting in-country access numbers to route out-of-network long distance calls at no extra fees. In addition to delivering its free calling service in Voxigo network, the company also offers an out of network calling service with rates starting as with just one cent per minute.

"Voxigo is in good path to develop and enhance its mobile VoIP application," said Voxigo Director of Strategy Shaun Jackson. "We are very excited with this release, coming on the heels of our Android release late last year. Our application is designed for use with the least strain on the user's smartphone thereby saving resources and preserving battery life." Jackson said Voxigo is easy to use and offers functionality that competitors do not.

"New users automatically have their phone book contacts integrated into the application with auto identification of all contacts currently using Voxigo," Jackson said. "Calls to these users are always free. Skype, Fring or Truphone do not offer this functionality." As the development of its technological moves, the company plans to start a push notification service in the coming weeks. The service, which will launch on both Apple and Android supported devices, will notify users of incoming calls, SMS and Chat requests even when they are offline. Users are currently able to connect with friends on Facebook and Skype as well as Twitter and many other instant messaging gateways.
