Enterprise Windstream, being the prominent provider of networking telecoms solutions, has announced that Company Pratt Industries, Inc., a producer of recycled fibre solutions for paper and packaging, has selected it to install tailored managed Unified Communications array.
Pratt looks forward to deploy Windstream in order to connect and centralize all telecommunications across company’s 72 detachments throughout continental US. Telephony and fax service are essential to company’s routine business operations because of the rampant data and information exchange between locations, as well as involving Pratt's customer bases. Before the project commenced with Windstream, every of Pratt's detachments was deploying obsolete PBX telephony systems that demanded massive procedures of daily maintenance and fixing, thus ensuring a considerable amount of downtime causing the company lost efficiency associated money spending. Pratt sought a solution that would be as much reliable as possible to support its service levels and operational at all times, the company explained. "In search for a new communications provider, we desired to get a trusted organization with well-proven technology and service that would be capable to deliver completely hosted and managed solution," stated Juan Merelo, Technical Services Manager, Pratt Industries. "We tried to prevent having a dedicated phone technician on staff, as well as didn't want to deal with several vendors. Windstream delivers all of the services and associated support that we were looking for in a one-shop deal." To address Pratt Industries' ad-hoc business requirements, Windstream is bringing up a fully customized, generally managed Unified Communications products that was created and developed specifically for Pratt. The system is mounted on the Mitel 3300 series VoIP Communications Platform (ICP) being embedded in one of Windstream's corporate-class data centers and implements Windstream's Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) network to conjoin Pratt's dispersed locations. The Mitel 3300 ICP is an open hierarchy telecoms system that supports enterprise VoIP PBX features plus a spectrum of organic applications such as standard unified messaging, auto-attendant, ACD, and wireless sithboard. It can support more than 500 telephony features and a massive array of applications such as multimedia integration, customer relationship procedures with the integrated messaging tools. Having deployed Windstream's hosted Unified Communications product, employees at Pratt have recorded already much better audio clarity, and have got all the advantages from the extra features of VoIP.
